Happy New Year everyone!

The lucky thirteen has come to an end. One of my achievements in the last year was reaching the total run of 800 km. I registered all my workouts in a Google Drive spreadsheet (you can use this document as a template if you wish). Among other things, it gives you a forecast on the total run at the end of the year, which is a very good motivation. It forced me for one to run 25 km in the last two days of 2013.

Little blue train Dec 20, 2013

This cute little blue vintage train was spotted today at the Amersfoort Central train station:

Whether it's a well-maintained old piece or just a mockup, I don't know.

Harlingen Dec 14, 2013

During our trip to Leeuwarden we have also visited, among other places, the port town of Harlingen.

The highlights of that visit can be described as: wind, sky, open water and VIEWS. Harlingen is so small that it's barely visible on a map, so but 15 thousand people enjoy these views.
