Like Dan Swanö, who I mentioned before, Zierler is rightfully seen as one of the prog scene patriarchs. He is mostly known as a founder and a keyboardist in the Danish band Beyond Twilight, which he started at the age of 20 back in 1992.
But we’ll talk about Dan some other time. This series is meant to introduce you to lesser-known music, which Odyssey is a perfect example of.
Friday again! I think I’ve hit the rock bottom in my quest for musical exotics.
This eighteenth edition of Musicellaneous features a totally unknown to general public endeavour of Japanese jazz musicians titled Presto.
There’s as little as nothing on it on the Internet. And if there were, you wouldn’t be able to find it given the band’s name.
Widek owns a recording studio, which he used to record and mix more than a hundred bands.
It’s quite surprising how low-profile he is considering the number of musicians he played with.
Gee it’s Friday again! The fifteenth edition of Musicellaneous continues to introduce you to progressive bands having a 4 in their name.
This time I’m going to pull the American instrumental-progressve-jazz band 4Front out of my music treasure chest.
This project is as little known as it is fascinating. You will hardly find any information about it on the Internet, save for the band’s Facebook page.
