Friday is always imminent! For this eighth edition of Musicellaneous I had to dig a wee bit deeper this time. So I’ve dug out one of the most mysterious characters of the instrumental prog who is hiding behind the Gru monicker.
And I do hope it isn’t related to GRU whatsoever.
Happy Friday everyone! This seventh edition of Musicellaneous features two gems at once: the American band Covet and its frontwoman multi-instrumentalist Yvette Young, who is by the way also a painter.
Covet’s genre is officially called math rock, which I would perhaps prepend with “maidenly”.

Friday! This sixth edition of Musicellaneous features the model djent band Vitalism from Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).
Vitalism was started in 2014 as a solo project of guitarist Ed Garcia, who recorded a single called Gradus.
